Scanwell was founded in Hong Kong in 1981. The first US office opened in 1982. The original business was air-express. In 1983, ocean freight service was added, and in 1984, consolidation programs and service were developed. IT development evolved in the late 80's and early 90's.
The company has experienced tremendous growth since 1981. From twelve people in 1981, today scanwell employs over 1, 500 people worldwide. Scanwell operates 15 offices in North American, 30 offices in Asia and 14 offices in China. All offices are company owned and staffed with scanwell employee. In addition, scanwell has established a worldwide network of agents who are qualified to service the needs of our customers.
As of today, scanwell has established its unique domestic network with air, ocean and other logistics and supply chain capabilities. Offices in china as follows:

Shanghai office is the headquarter of scanwell China region. It is located in no. 849 wan hang du road, hai sen international building 15 / f. We have over 180 employees in office who are well qualified.
We have sizable customs bonded warehouse in pudong airport and warehouse in jun gong rd. For ocean with qualified customs brokers. These warehouse have state of the art storage equipment and operation system. Both palletized and loose freight can be handled in the warehouse. In case of emergency, we can expedite the import process for urgent document transfer and delivery. Scanwell has employees assigned to especially take care of special cases.
